Nasir Ali

Materials scientist and perovskite research expert

With a solid background in condensed matter physics, we specialize in the synthesis and characterization of organic metal halide perovskites, which are applied in innovative fields of optoelectronics and energy. Has expertise in developing advanced X-ray detectors and photovoltaic systems, particularly in the field of sustainable lead-free technology. Committed to combining basic research with practical applications, promoting the cutting-edge development of perovskite based devices. Has demonstrated leadership in collaborative research projects, focusing on pioneering next-generation energy and sensing technologies.

Work Experience:

From June 2023 to June 2025, as a postdoctoral fellow, I will be conducting research on the synthesis, characterization, and X-ray detection applications of organic metal halide perovskites in the Zhijiang Laboratory.

From May 2022 to June 2023, Assistant Professor, responsible for teaching and research guidance for undergraduate students in the Department of Higher Education Archives and Libraries in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan.

From August 2012 to May 2022, lecturer at the Department of Higher Education Archives and Libraries in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan, teaching A-level and undergraduate courses, including laboratory teaching.

Educational background:

PhD (Condensed Matter Physics) in March 2023, Zhejiang University, China. Research focuses on organic metal halide perovskites and their applications in solar cells and resistive memory devices.

In June 2014, I obtained a Master's degree in Physics from Abdul Wahlihan University in Pakistan. My research focused on studying and characterizing metal nanoparticles embedded in soda lime silicate glass through field assisted solid-state ion diffusion. In January 2009, I obtained a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Peshawar in Pakistan. During my academic research, I studied mathematical physics methods, classical mechanics and quantum mechanics, electrodynamics, solid-state physics, nuclear physics, and advanced solid-state physics. During my master's degree, I mainly researched the preparation and sintering of barium titanate (BaTiO3) perovskite by adding sodium element.
