Zhejiang University Joint Team Hires Postdoctoral Fellow in Two Dimensional Materials Optoelectronic Devices with High Salary
1、 Job requirements
The joint team, relying on the advantageous platforms of the School of Optoelectronics and the School of Information and Electronics at Zhejiang University, is committed to the research and development of new optoelectronic materials, breakthroughs in core devices, and system integration applications, and has established a complete innovation chain of "material synthesis device preparation performance characterization engineering application". Currently, it undertakes multiple national natural science foundation, national talent plan projects, provincial and ministerial level key projects, and enterprise cooperation projects. Gathering talents from multiple disciplines such as optoelectronics, physics, materials science, and electronic engineering, with core research directions including but not limited to:
1. Precise synthesis, performance control, and physical mechanisms of low dimensional optoelectronic materials (two-dimensional materials, quantum materials, etc.).
2. Structural design, micro nano manufacturing, and system integration technology for single photon detection, infrared/mid infrared imaging chips.
3. Research on the industrial transformation of new optoelectronic detection technologies and new optoelectronic devices.
2、 Application requirements
1. Age not exceeding 35 years old, having obtained or about to obtain a doctoral degree in physics, materials, electronics, optoelectronics, chemistry, or related fields.
2. Physically and mentally healthy, with a rigorous academic attitude, possessing excellent research and innovation abilities, and a spirit of teamwork.
3. Candidates with research backgrounds in optoelectronic materials, micro nano optoelectronic devices, ultrafast optics, or two-dimensional materials are preferred.
3、 Talent treatment and support measures
1. Postdoctoral salaries are based on an annual salary system, with an annual salary of 290000 to 400000 yuan during the employment period. The specific amount will be determined after discussion based on individual education and work experience.
2.During the postdoctoral period, postdoctoral fellows can apply for the following national and Zhejiang Province postdoctoral funding projects, and the funding received will be combined with the school's salary and distributed.

3. Fresh doctoral students can apply for a subsidy of 100000 yuan for fresh graduates in Hangzhou.
4.According to the current policy of Hangzhou City, postdoctoral fellows who stay in Hangzhou within one year after leaving the station and sign a work contract for three years or more are entitled toa postdoctoral study allowance of 400000 yuan from the municipal finance department; If identified as D-class talents in Hangzhou, they can also apply for a housing subsidy of 1 million yuan.
5.After postdoctoral fellows enter the station, their qualifications for intermediate professional and technical positions can be confirmed according to school regulations. During the station period, if you apply to participate in the evaluation and appointment of senior professional and technical positions in the school, the quota can be listed separately.
6. Postdoctoral fellows can apply to rent school teacher apartments. Postdoctoral fellows themselves, their spouses, and children who meet the conditions for household registration can register with the school's collective household registration. During their stay, their children are entitled to the same treatment as school teachers and staff in terms of enrollment and daycare.
7. Postdoctoral certificate: After the two-year contract expires and the job requirements are met, a postdoctoral certificate from Zhejiang University will be obtained.

Guo Qiangbing: Researcher of the "Hundred Talents Program" at the School of Optoelectronics Science and Engineering, Zhejiang University, selected for the National High level Youth Talent Project. My research interests focus on the interaction mechanism between light and matter, as well as novel optoelectronic devices, mainly involving nonlinear and polarized optical/optoelectronic materials and devices (including ultrafast pulse light sources, quantum entanglement light sources, light modulators, and photodetectors, etc.). More than 30 papers have been published, including first/corresponding papers Nature,Nature Photonics, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, ACS Nano, Laser& Photonics Reviews Published more than ten articles in journals; Authorized 7 national invention patents. The research results have been selected for Optics in 2023 by the American Optical Society (30 globally annually) and have received recognition from various sources including People's Daily Online, Xinhua News Agency, Global Times, Phys.org, and EurekAlert! 、 Multiple mainstream media outlets at home and abroad, such as Nature Asia, OPTICA (Optical Society of America), and AcerS (Ceramic Society of America), have paid attention to and reported on it; Received the second prize of Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Award. Du Sichao: Associate Professor at Zhejiang University City College and part-time Master's Supervisor at the School of Information and Electronic Engineering, Zhejiang University. Senior Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Fellow of the Society for Materials Research (MRS), Fellow of the Optical Society of America (OPTCIA), Senior Fellow of the Chinese Society of Electronics, and Vice Chairman of the Expert Organizing Committee of the China Optoelectronic Industry Platform. In recent years, we have focused on highly sensitive optoelectronic detection technology and published over 50 papers in journals such as Advanced Materials, Carbon, and Applied Physics Letters (5 ESI highly cited and 2 ESI hot topics).
